In 1938, ten growers from Chécy (France-Loiret) decide to found the « Coopérative CAVML ». The first trade concerns fruits and vegetables from Loire’s sand and the name becomes “La Ruche du Val de Loire”.
In the years 1950, potatoes take a very important place at the cooperative. Progressively, schedules of conditions will be worked out to stress specificities from the country. A new step is launched: a structure of seeds production is created to ensure a follow-up from “the crop to the dish”.

In 1968, the society launches a vacuum range. To the trades of producer and packer, the cooperative adds the trade of transformer. Vegetables are washed, peeled, cooked and packed in vacuum for conservation at ambient temperature (red beetroot, carrots, potatoes, sweet corns, lenses…).

In January 2003, the cooperative changes her name again and becomes “Terr’Loire”.

2 - Table potatoes

Terr’Loire can offer you a large range of fresh potatoes in different packs:

• 1 kg, 1.5 kg, 2.5 kg (Dpack or girsac)
• bag 5 kg and 10 kg
• box 10 kg or 12.5 kg.

Varieties : Agata, Amandine, Belle de Fontenay, Charlotte, Chérie, Noisette, Ratte…
Our special varieties are Altesse, Gredine (whole baby) and Manon (for French Fries).

We export our potatoes all around Europe.

3 - Vacuum sterilized vegetables

Each day, our vacuum sterilized vegetable range is worked in our workshops, packed then dispatched through all Europe (red beetroots, potatoes, sweet corn, carrots, lenses…).

• red beetroot :

Betty Loire (250 g) : ONE beetroot packed in 250 g with a vinegar taste.	Betty tradition (4.5 kg) : steamed cooked with an ideal pack for wholesalers and retailers.	Red beetroot 500 g

Export range : we export our vacuum sterilized vegetables in all Europe and we can have possibilities to pack in English and German packaging.
